The concept of CTGS Eucharistic Ministry bringing the Eucharistic presence of Christ to Catholic communities throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans began during the Holy season of Lent in 2012.
This Ministry is a local Catholic outreach initiative that is focused on and committed to bringing Christ’s Eucharistic presence throughout the year to Catholic neighborhoods that are at times beset by crime, violence, and murder.
With the helpful guidance of Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond, and the Spiritual Assistance of Bishop Shelton J. Fabre, CTGS Eucharistic Ministry works in prayerful solidarity with local Pastors of Catholic Parishes to help bring Christ’s presence to their surrounding areas. The Ministry serves Catholic Parishes that are located within the Archdiocese of New Orleans, LA.
“And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence.” Exodus 33:19
